Bruxelles - Leather & Stripes

17-18 October ~ Brussels, Belgium
Ever since I arrived in London, I have been dying to travel to Europe. I admit that my first month in London was all sunshines and blue skies - surprisingly- so I shouldn't be complaining. However, I finally got the chance to head over to Brussels and Amsterdam for the weekend.
When autumn comes, it gets cold all too fast. I pretty much lucked out on my trip to Brussels – the sunshine made the city so much more vibrant. Even so, it was chilly here and there.
To deal with an unpredictable and unfamiliar weather in a new city, you can never go wrong with a leather jacket – a staple in everyone’s closet. It can easily edge up your outfit in a heartbeat.

For me, autumn/winter is more about the silver undertones than gold.
I opted for a striped romper to spice up my outfit, or else I would’ve chosen an all-black romper. I love how the top half of the romper has smaller stripes, while the bottom half is slightly different. It's the little details that make you give this romper a second look (... or not).
I also decided to tie a sweater around my waist so that there’s a visual line that separates my legs and torso, or else my whole body would’ve just looked like one big blob of stripes. There’s also a practical use for it too! When it gets too cold, just untie the sweater and you instantly have another layer of warmth!

And of course, when traveling, wear a pair of comfy shoes!! I kept it simple with a cute pair of simple black flats. Nonetheless, this outfit could be easily dressed up with a pair of booties. To me, this outfit is easily my go-to fall outfit when I don't want to think about what to wear in the morning.

I hope you guys enjoyed my first outfit post!
