Ripped Jeans & Shearling Jackets

It's no longer a secret that I'm finally back in New York. It's just for the week, but I get to spend it with my friends and family for Thanksgiving, which I dearly needed after three long months abroad. The day I arrived in New York was also the warmest day it has ever been, so I was left with the impression that perhaps New York was not as cold as I remembered. Surely, the temperature dropped the next day and I'm here shivering like I always do.
I had left all of my coats back in London, but I was so glad and excited to have found this shearling jacket from Piperlime. I've been on the look out for one for ages, but I wasn't really ready to spend a few grand on a jacket. I got this for about fifty bucks, more than half of the original price.
Surprisingly, this jacket was much warmer than I thought it would be. I wouldn't say I would spend hours in it in the cold, but it's surely doable if it's layered properly. I am in love with this jacket and I am even contemplating on whether I should bring it to London with me, even though I have five jackets with me already.
Can you tell how excited I am for this jacket? Well . . . For Black Friday, Piperlime is having 30% off sitewide & extra 40% off sale, which makes the jacket only 54 bucks! Make sure you check out the jacket if you're interested!

I paired this jacket with a pair of ripped jeans. They were a old pair of Hollister jeans that ended up fitting quite loose after I lost weight during my freshman year, so I did a DIY on them. Now, they're the perfect amount of comfort and distress for any casual day.
I With my shearling jacket and ripped jeans, I could've easily dressed it up or down. I guess I didn't quite want my outfit to be too casual so I opted for a pair of black heels to dress it up a bit. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have that make walking around the city so much more reasonable.

I use my Chanel WOC every single day - almost. I was actually contemplating between this and the lamb skin camellia one. I am so glad I went with the caviar skin because it's so much more practical for every day use.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Stay warm & happy shopping!
Have a good weekend, guys~
