Looking at this post makes me feel cold. It seems as though I'm totally underdressed in today's New York weather, but fear not, this was taken a few weeks ago after my return home from overseas. For this outfit, I went with something a little more comfortable with a little bit of edge. Ever since I got these boots, I've been wearing them nonstop. They're so comfortable and so warm. It's definitely a bit pricey, but totally worth the investment. Granted, they are a bunch of similar over the knee boots that a lot of other shoe brands are making cheaper duplicates of, but I know that my Stuart Weitzman's will last me my entire life- worth every penny.

I opted for a pair of leggings from Aritzia and a cozy tunic sweater from UO. I've been coveting this sweater ever since I linked it as a similar item from a previous post - as seen in 'Warm Tones'. I love the length of the sweater and the fact that it has a zippered slit on the side for some edge.Because my boots elongate my legs, I didn't really worry about the sweater swallowing me. But since I wanted to dress it up a bit, I belted the sweater with a gold belt from Anthropologie. I finished my outfit with my staple leather jacket from LF. But since this choice of outerwear is no longer an option in today's sweater, a peacoat or a parka will work perfectly as well.

Stay warm & happy Monday, guys!
