In Theory

During the winter time, it becomes a common tendency for people to live in the color black. I'm guilty of it as well, but lately, I've been on a hunt for the perfect grey coat. I recently scored this grey wool blend coat from Theory at an amazing price. I love everything about it: the color, the black leather piping on the lapel, the snaps on the collar, everything. I even contemplated whether or not I should've gotten it in black- but of course, that is never necessary.

I decided to stick with cool tones and went with my cozy grey sweater underneath. It's actually a sweater dress but I tucked it into my high waisted pants to elongate my legs against some black booties. Because of my petite figure, I always try to find ways to create an illusion to make it look like I'm taller than I actually am. I'm proud to say I've fooled more than a few people. Ankle booties have the tendency to elongate your legs because  it streamlines your legs to make them look longer.

Lately, I've been sporting a big bag just because I seem to have more things to carry out. This Prada bag is probably the biggest one I own. It's seriously so big and it gets so heavy. To add a little bit of color other than black and gray, I went with this blue wool scarf from Aritiza. You can see me sporting this outfit any day of the week basically.

Happy Monday, everyone!
