Miami Blues

Sand in between my toes.

It's been almost two weeks and I'm still having major Miami withdrawals. I can still remember watching that sunrise on the beach front. I miss the warm sun hitting every inch of body with sand in between my toes. But rather than listening to me rant endlessly about how much I miss Miami, I'm finally going to give my spring break getaway some closure. With that being said, I've saved my favorite outfit of my Miami series for last.

The combination of all these pieces make the perfect beach outfit. I just love the tasseled kimono against the pop of color from my shorts. I usually don't wear kimonos, but I thought this particular one from Abercrombie would be the perfect beach cover up. It makes me extra happy and I get really jumpy - I love seeing all my tassels sway at every movement.

I'm also a huge shorts kind of gal. With skirts, I always worry about having Marilyn Monroe moments. This pair of shorts from Brandy Melville have a baby blue floral print with dashes of neon yellow. I instantly fell in love with the print when I found it. If it weren't for these shorts, I would've felt like something was missing. Last but not least, I topped off my kimono and short duo with a very basic halter crop top from ASOS. I find the most flattering part of the body is the collarbone, so a halter top is the perfect way to accentuate that.

Miami has been ratchet, but amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better spring break with any other girls. I would relive it in a heart beat.

Until next time,
Happy Monday, everyone!!
