Spring Blossoms

"When life gives you lemons, make limoncello."

With all the spring blossoms popping up, I can't help but realize that another semester of college is finishing up. I've had it pretty easy up until I got back from London a few months ago because I was living a life guided by others' expectations. This semester, however, I did what I wanted. It's been  a tough semester so far, but I've been pushing myself more than ever to self-explore and figure out what I truly want to do.  No matter what everyone says or expects out of you, as long as you do what you love and actually enjoy it, that's all that really matters. You're living your own life and not someone else's.

So "when life gives you lemons,
make limoncello".

Why make lemonade like everyone else when you can make some bomb ass limoncello that you love? I recently picked up this cute lemon coin purse from Kate Spade with this quote imprinted on it. I instantly fell in love with it and it has been with me everyday as a little reminder of that I'm in charge of my own life, not others.

Personal anecdote aside, I'm wearing this little white number from Aritzia, which may just be one of my most favorite pieces from them. It's has such a clean cut- classic and elegant. I'm also a sucker for a high neckline because it accentuates your collar bones so well. This dress also has two pockets- like come on, how many dresses do you have with pockets in them. It's a very basic little white dress, but one that I did not own in my closet until now. To finish it all of, I opted for a pair of nude heels to elongate my legs, creating a fresh and clean look all together.

Thanks for reading this far and for all of your support.
Happy Monday, everyone!
