Soft Touch

My entire life I've been dreaming of a vacation to Italy. Sure, I've been to other European cities during my semester abroad, but I saved Italy for a time like this. Going for my birthday this year seemed like a no-brainer. I'm still having London blues and it seemed like no better time to finally make my way to Italy than to go on my birthday. Also, quite frankly, I just needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

I opted for a romper almost everyday because of the scorching 100 degree weather, but one of the cutest and my personal favorites is this particular one from Tobi for two reasons: it's gorgeous colors and flattering silhouette. Yellow is a hard color to love, but pale yellow, on the other hand, is so pretty, especially for the summer time. The color is a soft and subtle touch of color that's subtle yet playful. The contrasting watercolored flowers also yells the right about of girly without being too girly. In comparison to the soft touches of pastel colors, the silhouette is a bit more risqué and daring. The high neck line and cutout back is everything I look for in a top. It fits me in all the right places and is super flattering. To top it all off, I paired the romper with some black accessories to toughen up the soft colors: a heeled sandal from Zara and my wallet on chain from Chanel. This look can easily be transitioned from day to night if you throw on a pair of heels and add a pop of lipstick.

I can't wait to share my adventures in Italy with you all. Stay tuned!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
