Painted Pots

painting ice cream bowl at painted pots

This was the second time I visited Painted Pots and I managed to spend a little over an hour making my own ice cream bowl. My boyfriend painted a bloodied Joker-cow. While he's a bit more creative than I am, I thought it was so relaxing, especially at the end of the week, to just submerge myself in my own thought. I was so focused on what to paint on my bowl that nothing else really mattered anymore. It was quite the best way to spend a carefree weekend if you have time to kill. On the plus side, you get to make your own painted pottery that lasts a lifetime.

How Painted Pot works is quite simple. You pay a small studio fee to use their paint on top of the price of the pottery you choose, which should be a little over 20$ per person. From there, everything is up to your own imagination and own creative outlet. Paint away and you'll be surprised at the masterpiece you've made when you pick it up. The pot takes a week for it to be baked and ready.

Carefree weekends are the best.
