I was never a huge fan of key lime pies. Sometimes they're a little too sweet or a little too sour, but surely I've never had Steve's Authentic Key Lime Pie. The shop was a little hole in the wall in the middle of all the warehouses. It was highlighted with bright and colorful tables by the waterside. At first we order a small pie, which was 4 inches. It went for about $5.50. It had all the right amount of zest and sourness. The crumby crust was so good, just how I like them. It was so good that we went back for seconds for an even bigger pie. The medium pies (8") ran for $20. I definitely think the larger pies are much more worth it because you're definitely going to be asking for seconds. If you're ever around Red Hook, definitely stop by this place!
