NYFW S/S '16 + Vlog

I had the amazing pleasure of attending a few events on the first day of NYFW. Fashion Palette held two separate runway shows to feature ready-to-wear and evening & bridal separately. A few of the brands that I enjoyed was Bec + Bridge, Sabo Luxe and Simmone Standing (as shown in the vlog respectively). Bec + Bridge was more of a bohemian look with deep v-necks, billowy silhouettes with long sleeves. Out of the three brands, my favorite collection from Fashion Palette x NYFW is Sabo Luxe. Their SS '16 collection featured flowy trenches, jumpsuits, and trousers in neutral palettes. I would wear every single look. Simmone Standing was definitely interesting to see because each piece played with such amazing structures and symmetry. It actually reminded me of a fan. If you would like to see the full final look, I'd be more than happy to share it with you.

At night, I attended Lulu*s Style Studio for the second season in a row. You can read all about my first one here. I thought this time around was more fun than the last. I had the pleasure of getting my outfit for the event illustrated by the lovely and talented Brook. You can take a look at her work on instagram @Brookslit. I also had my make-up down by NYX, where I finally tried a smokey look. Last but not least, a huge thank you for all the goodies! Stay tuned to see how I style a piece I was able to grab at the event.

This wasn't much but I'm forever grateful that I had the chance to attend these events within the first year of my blogging journey.
