Reformation

There's an unsettling discomfort when we think about change, but no matter how many times our head spins in circles and our heart wavers at uncertainty, we will only grow. Your life does not get better by chance. It gets better by change. I know that 20 years from now, I will regret all the things I didn't do more than the things I did do. Fashion is always changing as well and so I'm always experimenting with new trends and trying to make it my own. It's safe to say that my personal style is changing as well.

I'm very open to trying new pieces, especially pieces that stand out. This particular maxi dress from Reformation is special in so many ways. The cloudy blue color is beautiful. The sheerness of the dress, slits on the side, and the deep v cut just screams risqué. Most importantly, the story and cause behind this dress is more appealing than anything else. This dress as well as all of Reformation's pieces are actually made from 100% recycled fabric. They also use sustainability practices, which is amazing. While their pieces are a little pricier, it's fashion for a good cause. (I didn't major in environmental in high school and minor social entrepreneurship in college for nothing). Reformation is not your typical brick-and-mortar and that's a really nice change for once. They strive to make a huge change in the fashion industry and it's for the better.

In so many ways, I try to face the changes I experience everyday and the best is yet to come.
