It feels really good to get away from the city once in a while. I sometimes forget how beautiful nature can be. I went hiking with my boyfriend and family a few weekends back when it was slightly warmer. We went to Bear Mountain, which is about an hour and half away from where we live. It was a little rocky, but nothing too difficult because we took an easy route that didn't require any uphill walk. The leaves were changing colors and sound of the nearby stream was so serene.
It took about 2 hours walk to the lake nearby. I grew up in the city, so I highly recommend these nature sessions if you ever get the chance.

Hiking may be fun once in a while, but I definitely cannot wait until these mountains are covered in snow. Who's ready for snowboard season?
