What is Next? // W.I.N Beauty Kit

A little known fact about me is that I'm actually very big on skincare. Not all products are fit for all skin types, so I invest a lot of time to research and find products that work for me. By no means am I an expert though. As a lot of you may have known, Asian skincare have been gaining a lot of traction in the past few years. However, I never really had the chance to try out any particular products for a number of reasons. There's a limited market in the United States for the wide range of Asian beauty and skincare that would otherwise be available overseas and even out of all the products, it is difficult to find the pick and choose which product works for me.

I recently received a beauty kit from What is Next (W.I.N) and had the opportunity to finally try selected Asian beauty and skincare products without stressing out about which products to choose. W.I.N Beauty Kit is only $14 per month and each kit includes 5-6 products with a little cute pouch If you're worried about being lost in translation because of the packaging, W.I.N includes a little info sheet about what each product is and how it's used.

1. Deep Clean Foam Cleanser by A'Pieu- It's super important to keep your face clean after a whole day of makeup, which was why I was super excited to try out this particular cleanser. It's a gel to foam cleaner, which I'm a big fan of. I don't like any of the oil cleansers. This cleanser had a bit of a floral scent, which was a pleasant surprise. Cleansers usually don't have the best scents. The only thing is, keep this cleanser away from your eyes! This applies for a lot of products, but I didn't do a thorough rinse the first time around and it burned so bad. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this product.

2. Natural Soft Jelly Cleansing Puff infused with Charcoal by Missha- I haven't been able to try this product. It's like a rounded sponge. All you have to do is add some cleansing foam of your choice onto the puff and cleanse away.  It's definitely something different and I can't wait to try it. I'll definitely update the post when I do get a chance to try.

3.  Snail Repairing Sun Cream by Secret Key- Protecting your face from UV rays is an essential part of my skincare routine, even in the winter time! However, I'm not a huge fan of its consistency and chemically smell. I was skeptical about using this product because I've never seen sun cream infused with snail slime extract. It sounds pretty cringeworthy if you really think about it, but I only have good things to say about this product so far. I love the consistency much better than regular sun screen products. It applies like a moisturizer and feels super lightweight on my face. I'm currently using this as a base every morning before I apply my makeup and I am enjoying it so far.

4. Animal Mask- W.I.N. beauty kit also included this animal mask infused with vitamin C and arbutin, which each has its own benefits. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that evens out skin tone and builds collagen, which helps hydration and prevent aging. It's never too early to start using anti-aging products!! Even I believe I should've started earlier. Because I have freckles on my cheeks, arbutin is great for lightening up those dark spots. Also, unlike the traditional sheet masks, this mask has a sheep printed on it! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it. You can never go wrong with face sheets and masks. It should be a weekly routine!

5. Chlorella Nose Clear Patch by Skin Food- Another facial treatment that needs some weekly attention is your pores! I never tried pore stripes before because I knew my pores are hard to handle. Because it was included in the W.I.N Beauty Kit, I was happy to try it out. All you need to do is wet your nose and adhere the strip. It's ready to peel after 10-15 minutes and it should strip away all your pores. However, when I tried it, not all my pores were cleared. It was still a good altnerative to my usual pore routine that requires a lot less pain.

So What is Next? I can't wait to see what other products are included in the W.I.N beauty kit. I really enjoyed the experience of the beauty kit. It kind of felt like Christmas again as I opened each product and trying it out to see if it really worked for my skin. Imagine having this delivered to you every month!!
