Hey everybody! I've been doing a lot of spring cleaning lately, not necessarily because I need room in my closet for new clothes but because I knew I was going to find pieces in my closet that I totally forgot about. Fast fashion has got us sucked up in trends that only last a season and it's not necessarily the most friendly way to go for your wallet or the world. Instead, dig through what you already have and make it work. Repurpose it like I did with this pinstripe flannel or just repeat an outfit. Have no shame -- just rock an outfit that makes you happy and confident. It doesn't have to last a season only.

With that being said, I love sticking to timeless and basic pieces. I dug up this off the shoulder crop top in my closet and threw on this chunky knit that I got while I was in London over a year ago. This combination is comfortable yet casual. It's effortlessly chic and quite honestly, so easy to put together. Also, I've been killing these Miu Miu slip-on's lately because they're the comfiest shoes ever. I love the metal toe cap detail that really makes a statement in outfit. However, I decided to tone down the spring whites with a casual pair of ripped denim. There you have it -- a super easy and casual outfit, all with some basic pieces that I dug out from my closet.
