Spring Co-ords w/ Tobi

Tobi is one of my favorite sites to shop for dresses, and if you're more a shorts kind of gal, rompers are a no-brainer. However, two-piece sets are by far my favorite thing ever.  I first styled a two-piece set from Tobi last year at NYFW and I've been in love with co-ords sets since then. They're so versatile because I can mix and match existing pieces in my closet to create new and exciting outfits each time I wear it. And if my creative juices just aren't flowing that day, I'll just opt for a cohesive look with with my matching two-piece set.

This particular set from Tobi is definitely going to be on repeat this spring/summer. The silhouette of the skirt is bit girly -- its form fitting and bells out a little bit towards the bottom. The top is where it gets interesting and perhaps a bit risqué. The split back on the top shows off some skin, but I'm all for it. It's all in the details. Also, don't forget to layer! It gets chilly during the spring.

For shoes, I opted for a pair of nude sandals to elongate my legs. After all, spring is the season to show off some skin that's been hibernating all winter. These shoes were actually from my boyfriend, who loves to spoil me with shoes. I know some people don't like the idea of gifting shoes as a present, but it's become a thing for us. He gave me with these Jeffrey Campbell shoes years ago after hunting for them in my size. The heels are clear, which is a cute and fun detail. The lucite clear heel is having a trending moment.

I think this outfit perfectly sums up some of my favorite items for this spring and summer season. I hope you like it as much as I do! Stay tuned for some more outfits coming soon.

    1. Right! I can't wait to style this set some more when it gets warmer. I'm definitely opting for a more neutral palette this season and it's such a fresh and clean change to my usual all-black outfits.
